Default What does this ingredient mean?

On a Frankfurt packet it states as an ingredient it contains "meat including pork 66%? Does mean it would contain chicken and other meats?

Yes, franks are made from the scraps, so they are claiming that 66% is 'meat' which is any part of any animal, I would say pork has been specified as some cultures dont eat pork.

The rest is probably like breadcrumbs/filler/fat etc. And as above mentioned its all the scraps that make up the 66%

Thanks, DS has a intolerance to Chicken Meat. He was at his Nanna and Pops yesterday and they had hot dogs for lunch........ Well when he woke up from his sleep he was vomiting everywhere. He is all good now, but we know now he can't have them.

I thought it could be the Frankfurt but all it takes is the smallest amount of chicken. We ordered a pineapple an ham pizza from our local pizza shop and DS had a small piece. Well later he was vomiting everywhere. He always vomits 2-3 hours after eating. We looked at the left over pizza and found a couple of tiny bits of chicken. Apparently he can grow out of it. It's called Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES).
