I don't know the Tupperware one you're talking about, but I swear by a good food processor when you're in a rush, perfect slices and some brands have other cutting attachments too.

I just bought a Breville kitchen wiz pro, it has several attachments for slicing, grating, juliennes etc. and a big motor so it can handle the strain. I'm sick of hand chopping, we cook everything from scratch here. I know us not what you asked aboutOP but after doing everything by hand for so long, and using one till for this/another for that, I think it's a worthwhile investment.

After 20 years of using the Slap Chop Style cutter I find the Rotating type difficult. I recommend buying one from a decent cooking Shop As opposed to Target/Kmart/ cheap shop.

My last one Lasted 4 years till It got too close to a hot stove.

    Default Veggie chopper ...

Tupperware have redesigned their Happy Chopper. It's now a turbo chef and has a pull cord. It's excellent. There are two sizes, one the size of the happy chopper and one twice that size.

I used to demonstrate it with raw carrots - it reduces the carrot to the consistency of fine Cous Cous.
