    Hi all,

    I'm not sure
how to begin these thing as it is my first time, so here goes.... I am a single
30-something female with the desire to have a family. I am battling with
thoughts relating to how to start a family. My longest relationship to date was
with a woman - we had some contrasting views& not enough honest
communication on starting a family which may have been one of the unconsious
reasons as to why we broke up just over a year ago. I have had many shorter
relationships with men but nothing whereby I felt ready to make the leap to
having children. I just feel in a quandary about how to sort out my feelings on
the matter& would just love to hear about other's experiences, particularly
those who have used donor insemination as a single parent & those who have
used insemination/ surrogacy within a same sex couple.

    Lots of info/
questions there but hopefully you will want to share.
