    Lie - lah ???

    Lyla, Lylah, Lilah ??? I love the name but don't really love any spellings? What would be most normal?

    I think Lyla would be most common? I like Lilah too.

    Leila to me is Lay-la.

    Lila or Lilah, but not Lyla (I think it looks masculine spelt with the 'y', perhaps because it looks like Lyle then).

    There was another thread today in the names section about how would you pronounce Lila (as in Lie-la or Lee-la or Lill-uh), perhaps have a look at that thread as well.

    Gorgeous name though. Love it.

    When I see Lilah or Lila written down I automatically read it as Lih-lah, as in Lily etc which is why I'm not too keen on that spelling I have a friend with a Leila and she pronounces it Lee-lah. Maybe Lyla would be the way to go? It's not the only name on our list, so not too phased at this stage
