    My Bill did the move the other way (wa to qld) which is cheaper and was about $8k for a container. Worked out much much cheaper for the cars to drive between qld and Sydney and put the cars on the train from WA to Sydney.

    It cost us $6500 from the Hunter (NSW) to Bundaberg (QLD). And that was a relatively cheap quote (but the conpany came to us on recommendation originally, and we'd already used them to move interstate twice before). I'd expect it would cost more for QLD to WA. Removalists are expensive - but worth paying for someone who does a good job and doesn't destroy your property or house.

    Regarding insurance - check if your contents insurance covers transit insurance, because mine does, so long as I am changing the address for the policy with them.

    Hey, if you are still looking for a moving company to move you from WA to QLD, I suggest try to have a quote from MiniMovers. Since there is no harm on asking for a quote I think you should try. Just browse their website address on google. Cheers
