Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this, mods feel free to move.
My DH has just been officially diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I have been trying to get him to go for a test for years but he just kept saying he's fine. So after a few catalytic events he finally went and its bad, extremely bad. He is off to get a CPAP machine this week, i am hoping this helps. Our relationship has been a bit strained over the last few years, now i can see why. What i had put down to laziness and procrastination has probably been just pure exhaustion.
Interested in anyones experience on how life went after starting on a CPAP machine and any other advice you have to offer.

sleep apnea experiences
My husband got one over a year ago and it's been great! I was able to stop sleeping in the spare room and he has a lot more energy. It's not the most attractive accessory though and cuddly sleeping is a bit impossible with it. Also, you may find it irritating to sleep facing him as the mask will blow out a little excess air. My husband is also a mouth breather when he sleeps and had to train himself to nose breath.
