Thanks everyone. I just purchased a "Day you were born" birth cert gift thing.
It has stuff like news headlines for that exact day, prices of petrol/milk/ houses/cars etc, famous ppl born on the day, and heaps of other stuff.

Thought it was a nice gift.
    Thanks anyways!!

Thanks guys, I got it from www.giftedmemories.com.au
if you just google something like 'day you were born gifts' then heaps of stuff comes up. It was $20 plus postage ($4.50 to WA).

I was tossing up between the gift cert and the Coat of Arms as he's quite patriotic (from England). I also found drinkware which I thought would have been appropriate as he's a big drinker. You can also get 'day you were born' newspapers but they over $100 (didn't want to spend that much on someone else's grandparent!!)
