Had scan today and was told they think its a girl. I know they have to say. They can't be 100% sure to cover them but does anyone know if they can actually be wrong?

Yes they can be wrong. the only way to be 100% sure is to have an ammnio. I have had 2 friends be told they are having girls and both had boys.

Ive now booked in for a 3D scan in 3 weeks time as I want more confirmation.
Do 3D scans have more chance of determining sex?

I have had numerous and at everyone i got them to confirm gender as I just wanted to be certain. I had a 3D scan at 30+5 and there is no way they can be wrong. She took a very clear picture of his junk! hehe
    Good luck

Ill be almost 24 weeks at my 3D scan. So hoping they will be able to tell gender very clearly.

I have heard its more likely that that they get a girl prediction wrong than a boy prediction. Don't know how true that is though...

Apparently all babies are female at the beginning then the boy bits comes out. The later the ultrasound the more accurate it is. Girls shows 3 lines and boy shows a turtle. Cant miss it
