    Default The DVD's

    My fitness background.
I have never done an exercise class in my life. I have never been one to exercise at all. In the past if I exercised at all is was by walking or on an exercise bike, so I am as much beginner as you as can get. I am very unfit.

I have only done the steps and activate DVD’s so far so I will comment on the others as I do them.

    Steps
I love that all the basic steps that you use in the work out are broken down into small stages so even a dummy like me will eventually get them. I like how they start off slow and then bring us up to pace. They start you with just the feet and then they add in the arm movements so people like me only have to concentrate on learning on bit at a time. I did get a little lost at first, especially when the instructor free styled at the end of learning the steps. I am sure that it won’t be too long and I will be the one free styling.
The music is a lot of fun and you find yourself smiling throughout the DVD.

    Activate
OMG I can’t tell you how much I loved this DVD. I have just done it for the first time after doing the steps DVD twice. I love that I could do most of the steps. I can’t say I kept up with them with every step/stage but I did finish it without a break (oh well there was one time when I had to rescue the baby after he had crawled himself into a corner and got stuck). I have never been more proud of myself for getting all the way through.

It was a great introduction to the world of Zumba Fitness. We used lots of different steps or variation on the steps we learnt in the steps DVD. For a beginner like me it was easy enough to follow without it be boring. I like that when the steps were a little harder they had a simpler version until you got the hang of the harder step. I know I plan to do this DVD everyday this week.
