So it's occurred to me that I need some definite goals for this challenge. As for a weight loss goal, I don't like to look too far ahead. Number wise, my first goal is 77.5kgs because that will mean I'll be classed as "overweight". Yup, that's right, I want to be overweight! I've spent way too much time in the "obese" range.
What's more important to me than numbers, though, is how I feel. Over the course of the next 8 weeks, I would like to lose two dress sizes. Ack! I sure am all about the lofty goals, aren't I? I'm currently squishing into a size 16 so at the end of this if I can get into a size 12 anything I think I'll be happy. I don't know if that's aiming too high but I'm sure as heck going to try.
It goes without saying that another goal of mine is to get pregnant. Losing weight can help with fertility and the last time I got pregnant was just after I'd lost about 6kgs.
My final and ultimate goal is to be happy. I'll toddle off and write a blog about this soon. I want to be happy within myself about the way I look and about my life in general.

I am sure our goals will shift and be adapted continuously as we get the hang of this Zumba party stuff.
I need to set myself some specific goals too! I have resisted writing down a number as that has lead me down obsessive and unhealthy paths in the past. Having said that I am now older and wiser and I think some numbers will help me focus. 😄

Thanks guys! What's blown me away since this started is how similar we all are. Not just us but I'm sure everyone who entered. I feel so incredibly lucky that I was chosen because I need this kick in the pants and to make a change!
