    Default Bliss balls recipe

    Posting here for traffic.

Does anybody have a bliss balls recipe? I keep finding recipes with tahini or chia powder or cashew paste. I seem to have everything but these 3 ingredients, but I am certain I have made them before without these things. At my disposal is dates, agave syrup, coconut oil, almond meal, cacao powder....you get the drift. I don't really want to experiment and stuff it up. Any ideas?

Thanks Laksa. I am just looking at the cookie dough ball recipe - Is coconut butter different to coconut oil?

Never mind, the coconut oil jar has butter in brackets.

I have just fashioned something out of lsa, cacao, dates, agave and coconut oil. Tastes ok, but I was a bit heavy handed with the cacao.

    Default Bliss balls recipe

I use this one - chuck all in food processor and add tahini and honey - roll into balls and coat with sesame seeds or coconut!

    Ingredients
1 cup puffed millet, quinoa or rice
    1/3 cup sesame seeds
    1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup nuts, unsalted and chopped - almonds, cashews, brazil, hazelnuts, macadamias etc
1 cup sulphur-free dried fruit chopped -apricots, apple, peaches, pear etc
1/2 cup rice syrup or raw honey
    1/2 cup tahini
1 cup either sesame seeds or coconut, extra

You could replace the nuts in my recipe with something else?

Yeah I could. Some sort of grain/seed maybe?

Yum, a few more variations to try.

My bastardised version of several recipes with a few extra liberties taken seemed to go ok at afternoon tea this afternoon. Cheers Laksa.
