My DD is 5 weeks old and has been diagnosed with silent reflux.
She has been on 2.5mg losec for 5 days and then recently upgraded to 5mg a day but unfortunately with still no improvement our GP has increased her losec to now 10mg a day. We have noticed since being on losec her bowel movements have reduced significantly (4 a day to now maybe one every two days) she is BF and I have Been told bf babies can go without any movements for a week But it is obvious to see she is uncomfortable and straining. We are concerned if we increase the losec her bowel movements will get worse.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice pls on helping with regular movements? Thnks!
