    Default Real or fake?

    If a Braxton hicks contraction takes your breath away is it a real contraction or just a Braxton hicks? There's no pain, just tightening. It's been happening for the past few days but they are still irregular..

    Yes they can really make you think they are the real thing. It's true what they say though - you know when real labour starts, there is no question in your mind 'this is it'.

    we had lots of the frustrating Braxton hicks lol - felt like we would be pregnant forever!

    OP, they say they get worse with each pregnancy - I hope for your sake this isn't the case lol

    I felt two just the other day and I am only 22 weeks!! Lol third pregnancy and I guess it's all down hill from now I guess

    Yep Braxton Hicks. They can be full on but just dont (usually) hurt.
