Default Sleep apnea - adnoids grown back?

My DD is 6. She had her adnoids and tonsils removed at 20months old due to sleep apnea.

Her sleep apnea is now back, she's very nasally and snotty, and only breaths through her mouth.
The GP we saw thinks her adnoids have grown back. We see the ENT on the 30th.

Have you had experience with adnoids growing back? How long did they take to grow back, and did your child have them removed again?

    Thanks for any input

For future reference of anyone in a similar situation, we saw the ENT surgeon last week and DD will have her adnoids removed again, and her sinus burnt and drained in theatre. On the waiting list
