I think she has given it to someone else too! I don't think you're overreacting at all...you're nesting and just want it home!

I'd call/send a messa saying "I'm coming over on X date to pick up the bath, just leave it outside if you're not home" if she says something about it being out of the way/in storage just tell her that you want to get it sorted now while you still have energy to organise all this stuff!

I would just say "I'm getting my baby stuff together, if you don't have the bath anymore, please let me know so I can make other arrangements"

There's two options. Be upfront and say you are taking your baby bath by x date and you don't care for any excuses you just want the bath.
Let it go, by another one and forget about it.
Sometimes things just aren't worth the stress.

I completely understand wanting get everything organised and ready. Its such a nice feeling to get bubs stuff all sorte and then just relax. It sounds dodgy to me how your friend is acting, I think perhaps she has given it away or lent it... I would call her and let her know you want to get everything sorted etc and to please grab it out of storage and you will pick it up on whatever day.

Sounds like she's given it to someone or its somehow broken. Either way she needs to own up to it and tell you.
send her a message or call and say could she please get it from storage before next weekend as you want it back

I think she's either broken it or given it to someone, her excuses sound strange and not acceptable! I would be forceful and tell her you want it back and if she makes excuses ask her where it really is
