    Default I feel so awful

So my almost 10mo dd for the last two days has been smacking and pulling at her ears. I didn't wanna rush to the docs because I hate how some of them just throw antibiotics at babies. After her being very sleepy today andnot her usual self I decid to see the doc. Turns out she had a high fever. I didn't even check it just slipped my mind. And she also has both ears infected. Now she is on antibiotics. I just feel selfish and like I should be given the worst mother of the year award. Just a vent really. My poor bubs

My dr has never thrown anti-biotics and I was under the impression that dr's were very reluctant to give most people anti-biotics unless absolutely required these days.

I'm sorry your bub is unwell. It's not nice when they're sick!

This doctor today was awesome. Some doctors my way give them all the time. I'm talking five times in seven months for a runny nose and cough. I won't leave it so long next time

    Hopefully they do the trick!

Our GP never recommends them. If I've ever asked for them myself I feel like I'm asking for crack with the look I get, I've only had them once in many years.

I know what you mean - my childhood GP would throw antibiotics at me for the slightest sniffle. Don't feel guilty, parenting is the biggest. learning. curve. ever! Your DD will be right as rain before long.
