I'm sorry you feel like you are being jumped on wastingtime, I would like to point out though that you did say you didn't understand why ppl go shopping as a family, and the replies after that have only been to explain why ppl do do it.
I am sorry I said you were jaded, but I do honestly believe that ppl are too caught up with getting everything in line rather than enjoying the small things in life, like sharing the experience of shopping with your family.
This is not to say I don't understand where you are coming from. I avoid taking my kids shopping when it's just me, cause to be honest that is a special kind if hell. Trying to wrangle 4 kids around a shop by myself does my head in.

Too often people go into a thread with blinkers on and with a view already formed. They look for opportunities to sprout their beliefs and in this process they often Miss quote what people have typed.

I mean just look at how this thread was started. I said in another thread that a woman who went shopping, couldn't handle it and verbally abused her kids shouldn't take them shopping. All of a sudden I'm saying women in large families shouldn't go of in public? Wtf..

Yes you may have been misread in the other thread, but it is actually an attitude that those with large families are met with on a regular basis.
