I joined in 2005...The year O and J were born...
And now they are 7
Gabriel is 5. His VBAC birth story had 6 pages of replies...in 2007
Julian just turned 4. He had an incredible birth and I received so much love and support from the Hub around all the issues in that..... amazing love.
And my baby... Lysander is over 2. His pregnancy and birth came and went quite quietly on the hub.. I wasn't around much then..
So I don't know why I'm still here....
Sentimental value I think... reading through all those old threads.
Just , not, quite, ready , to, let, go......
What's your story???

I joined in 2008 I think it was so DS was about 8mths old. Was a rough few years and now things are going great. We added a hubber to our family and can't wait until sheeturns back from NY as we both miss her greatly.
I don't come on a lot these days now. Life is too busy between work and school run and play dates.
I will most likely still stay around even though my participation is getting smaller and smaller.

I joined when ds2 (no5) was a bub.
The hub has been a great support for me during some great and not so great times.
My weight-loss, dd1 final years at school, helping me find the right drink dd1 with her first alcoholic drink and so much more...
Most importantly it is the friendships I made her that keep me here.

I joined when TTC in 2007.
I was able to share that journey with others.
I remember the day I got my BFP- after telling DP I came straight onto BH to announce my happy news.
I remember all the trouble I went through in early pregnancy- from bleeding to being told I was miscarrying, to then being told it was twins.
My boys were born Oct 2008

And I've been firmly attached to BH ever since.
My boys turn 4 next week
and although there's still no 3rd baby in the wings (we change our mind daily, but we never agree with each other! ) I'm still coming back all the time.
OJ- gosh your boys have gotten so so big!!

Oh bless... I can't believe L and B are 4!! Holy moses, it only feels like yesterday I was typing "get two bouncers and an electric swing!"
I think it's for reasons like this I stay.... you make friends. lol it's like an old milk bar that makes kicking hamburgers and then goes under new management and stops selling them.... but you keep going back and buying the drinks because all your friends do.

The hub has been a huge part of my life too, i have met pretty much all my now IRL friends from the hub who've had similar interests to me. It opened my eyes to homebirth, cloth nappies, extended breastfeeding and all the AP type parenting i felt so compelled to do, but knew noone else like me. It was a comfort and a huge support and been such an outlet for me. I have joined since 2006, wish i found it earlier. My oldest would have been a few months old and now i have 3 little misters. I also found my egg recipient here and that was another beautiful moment in my life i'll forever cherish all because it was from the hub, so it's been a massive part of my life too, just can't leave the place, and love seeing all the oldies with their big kids now and enjoying being one of the old mother hens in here

I joined in early 2006 after a laparoscopy that came with the news that if I didn't TTC within a year, I might never get to have the chance to have a baby. DD was born exactly 365 days after I got that news.
We had a fantastic TTC#1 thread going. Pretty much all the girls in that thread have at least 2 kids now.
Bubhub has been a great reference tool, I was the first of my friends to have a baby and knew nothing at all. As DD has gotten older I don't need it for advice any more, I still come on because I like the debates and discussions, it's pretty much the only way I get to have that as in real life I don't have those sorts of friends.
