    Question Am I Pregnant?

I've probably had intercourse around every two weeks (approx.) for the past two months or so. I'm on the implant (since March 2011) and have always used a condom.
However, this is the first time in 10 years that I have missed my period. I was due the end of September. The implant has always played havoc with my cycles, but I have always ended up getting my period. I'm just extremely paranoid now that this is the first time ever I have missed it. I went to a gynecologist last week and, according to a pelvic ultrasound, my endometrial lining is only 4.9mm and that (i quote) "there is nothing in your uterus". I also have two very small cysts on my right ovary. However, is it true that a pelvic ultrasound may not detect a pregnancy until about 6-8 weeks along?

In addition to this missed period, my nipples have become quite sensitive and erect. My breasts themselves don't really hurt, just the nipples and areolas. My gyno said with my combined contraception, conception is very unlikely, but since I'm no longer asymptomatic, I've become very paranoid ..

What is the likelihood of pregnancy from this?
N.B.: I had a bit of spotting for two days beginning the 21st September. I've had nothing since.

I doubt you are, I've read it's normal to skip a period every now and then.

Condoms and implant and u/s showing no sac or anything? Very unlikely I'd say. You can always get a home preg test to confirm- if it was pos it would show by now.

I'd say very unlikely. Take a HPT.

Hey I had the implant a few years back, and didn't get my period for a whole year!! Then got it for about 9 weeks straight and got it taken out cause I didn't see the point in being on two types of birth control. Hope you get your answers soon maybe try take a home preg. test...
