Why am I still here? All posts lately (which being a pregnancy & parenting forum, is to be expected, duh) I see seem to be babies, tests, nappies, pregnancy, birth, etc.
Ive been here since late 2007 when dd was a couple of months old, shes now 5. I'm done with having children and my 'baby' is nearly 3. I guess I come back to read posts from familiar faces (rather usernames), the general chat, the odd thread about older kids and schooling etc. and the single parent section since I've been a sole mother for over 2 years now. Also the paranormal section. But those aside I just feel like an alien reading through all the posts.
I visit here much less frequently than I used to but always find myself checking in every few days.
No real point to this thread so what keeps you coming back here?

That's because most regs stopped using when the app was removed. Tumbleweeds have been blowing through BH the last few weeks.

Yeah same here, my DD is 5 1/2 and I have no place going into sleeping baby/toddler/pregnancy threads (and I wouldn't want to).. Lately I've been coming on a lot less. It's just a boredom/procrastination thing really - choices are doing something productive or check bubhub on the off chance it has livened up...

Yes OP, my oldest is 8 and I read the posts and struggle to remember exactly when DS did this that or the other (without checking is baby book which, lets face it, is in a box with a million other photos and baby things) so I feel like I have nothing to contribute. And frankly the other threads are mostly boring to me. So why am I still here?.....boredom.

I will also add that whilst its boredom that brings me here, it is boredom that drives me away. Can only click 'New Posts' so many times before its just a waste of downloads.

Just want to point out that mum's with older children have wisdom, experience, and usually a different and very valuable perspective on things.
So I for one am glad that there are members like this around
Plus I'm way more freaked out at the possible problems I might face as a parent of older kids/teenagers compared to ttc/pregnancy/babies - that all looks easy in comparison... So there should obviously be more threads about older kids so I'll be better prepared!
