    Ganache in between for sure but I use Orchard ready made icing for outside. It just tastes like sugar so kids eat it. You just dye it, roll it with rolling pin and wrap over cake; no sugar syrup needed. You can then dye left overs other colours roll out and use cookie cutters to cut and sit on cake for decoration. So you could do stars, love hearts, balloons etc ec

    A tablespoon or two of ganach and cream whipped together makes an awesome filling sorta tastes like chocolate mousse
