I am due to have one tomorrow and am wanting to know the pros and cons anyone may have??
If it does set off labour, is it the natural course of labour or like being induced??

It's natural as an S&S will only kick-start labour if your body is ready anyway. Labour following an S&S is still considered spontaneous labour. It was my first so have nothing to compare it to but I had a very quick and easy labour.

Inserting anything in the vagina is a potential source of infection.
Baby will come when baby is ready.
Unless there is a medical need for induction, i would avoid it.
