Default Dear pathology... thanks for stuffing up my Glucose test

And you haven't even attempted to take my blood yet!!

So on Thursday I got the referal from my GP and walked 3 metres to pathology to book it in. first of all they told me Sunday, I was busy, they said yesterday, then realised it was a public holiday. I ended up booking for this morning. I then spent 10 trying to get it booked in for 10/11 am as i wake up then. as they usually do them at 7:30 the latest they let me do was 9am. they booked me in for a 2 hour test gave me all the information nd sent me home. I got here this morning and find out i was a referzl for the 1 hr text, they hadn't checked for bookings, had no cold syrup. i didn't need to have a high carb diet, or fast for 12 hours.

So I went to see my gp a out something, was given a script for panadine fort (can you have that at 16 weeks?) then had some half cold syrup. i then got told I hac to sit outside the path door so they could find me in an hour. I really lost it then... the chairs in pathology hit my sciatic nerve & give me pain. I was set up on a comfy seat around the corner and I have a watch on and 3 electronic devices with timers.. i am pretty sure i can tell an hour better then she can... she couldn't even get to work on time... i know.. there was a note on pathology's door telling me so.

She basically told me "ok fine then" after realising there were no empty seats near pathology anyway.

Ok i feel better after the rant. lol.

Can I ask why you are having the GD test so early?
