Default Should I be concerned? Increased CM

Sorry if this is TMI. I know increased CM is a normal pregnancy symptom but I haven't really had much more than I would normally expect to get right before my period. But today, I suddenly started getting heaps of watery CM, so much that it felt like it was gushing out. I figured it was just normal but later when I went to the toilet I noticed some of it was actually a dark yellow colour (I would have expected it to be clear like it usually is). It was on and off for a couple of hours but seems to have settled down now. I had no cramps or anything like that. Should I go see a doctor or something? I'm more worried about the colour of it than anything else...

Oh I would go see a doctor, how far along are you? I guess any sudden change there should be checked out. Best of luck!!

The extra discharge could be related to the forming of the mucous plug and a major change in hormones. Not sure about the colour though. Probably a good idea to see your doctor anyway just for peace of mind

I'm only 5 weeks, I'm not sure if it is really a problem because I have no cramping or anything and still have all the other pregnancy symptoms I had before so I hope its just normal. I might go to the doctor anyway but I feel like I'm wasting their time if I go there and its nothing

Could it be the start of Thrush?

I only say that, as you have just described what I am experiencing, and I have just gotten thrush.

But talk to your Dr anyhow. Always best to be certain. (they like the medicare money anyhow, if it ends up being a quick appointment lol).

Don't feel like your wasting their time!!! That's what they are there for. I had a stillbirth and after that when I was pregnant and could feel movement for a day I would go in to hear the heart beat... they never made me feel bad for it.
