Default What do you all mean by terrible 2's??

My DD is very active, cheeky, spirited at 13mnths now I am not complaining at all because she is happy and healthy BUT you all talk terrible 2's .... What does this mean? Will she become even more energetic or naughty? I don't think it's possible and if so how the hell am I going to handle that!!!!!

I always thought the terrible 2's was about wanting ones own way and chucking a tantrum when you didn't your way...

And general defiance, saying 'no' to everything, refusing to do basic tasks like get dressed, have a bath, brush teeth etc

They are just more. More demanding, more noisy, more distracted, more inclined to whinge, more defiant.

Yep, just more. Then comes the 3's which in my opinion is so much worse. Yet hard to describe. But I don't think that's what you want to hear. sorry.

Tantrums, loads of attitude, constant no's, unhelpful - you get the jist of it. Rather a trying period is the nicest way I can put it!
