I am unemployed at the moment, I was thinking about maybe cleaning houses for a bit of money. How would I go about doing this? Should I put flyers in peoples' letter boxes? How much should I charge? I would do washing, fold and put away clothes, tidy up, vaccuum, etc etc. Would I need to undergo a police check?

Legally you'd need to have an abn and register your business etc.

Maybe ring the local cleaning services and see if they are looking for staff?
