Default When to have the 12 week scan?

    Hi all,

I am booked in for our first ultrasound at 11w5d and I was wondering if it can be done any earlier than this, say 11w3d? Did anyone have their 12 week scan a few days before the 12 week mark?

    Thanks

i had mine at 10 weeks with my first.
If ur having the combined screening NT test they prefer you to have it exactly on 12 weeks but 10-13 weeks is ok.
Is there a specific reason you want it done earlier? I dont think it's a real issue. When you ring them to book in just tell them you are 12 weeks on the date you want to have it done.

I would ask when you book. I booked my NT scan this week and they said they do it between 12w5d and 14w, I asked if I could do it at 12w3d and they said that was ok, but they wouldn't do it any earlier than that. Different places might have different ranges?
