Im 15 weeks and was hospitalised this week cos I havnet been even able to keep down water or food even tho have been taking stematil. Out now and on Prednisolone (steriod) for a couple of weeks. Dr hoping by then the MS would have passed. Well, so far so good no more MS and able to eat and drink again... but now terrible headaches and diarrhea.
Has anyone taken this medication with same side effects?

Prednisolone side effects for MS - anyone?
21-09-2012 12:50 #2
I'm on prednisolone, but not for ms. I had horrible diarrhea, was quite manic, had trouble sleeping and lowlevel headaches when I started it. The diarrhea lasted about a week, and the other stuff lessened after about 10 days. Still feel tired, but everything seems to be back to normal now, think my body just needed a bit of time to adjust.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

I've been on prednisolone for yonks now but for a different reason. I do recall feeling a bit unusual when first pit on but it did pass within a short time. It also would depend on what your dosage is.
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
