Hi Ladies just trying to catch upon here with everyone on here.
Mrs Hopeful - Hoping your IUI went well send you lots of baby dust. Your post about waiting for semen wash cracked me up. When I did my first IUI I had hubby do his thing then had to go collect anyway the guy hands to me and says here you go and I go down hall to FS and receptionist says to me oh quick put that in your celeveage needs to keep at body tempreatureim like oh oh okay so i do it then im sitting in waiting room with test tube of said wash down my celevage. Another couple come in and im thinking oh geez
if only they knew but laughing in my head at it all.
Are you in your TWW now?
Heyside - How are you? Just reading your posts and OMG about your Fertility clinic WTF? Seriously doesnt surprise me coz i've had similar happen and they never seem to know
who is who or what the F**K is going on. The way DH and I now see it is that we take control we just use them to give us the meds we need. We make our own decisions and do what we feel is right for us. To say cancel and then let you decide and give you the meds then condemn you for it well they may need to look at their DOC (Duty of Care). I'm so sorry this has happened to you its sofustrating and dissappointing and plain just aggravating. I hope your getting the answers you need.
Ladydee - Glad to hear that you have your own FS back and wishing you lots of babydust for your IUI cycle. I think having a familiar face always makes the process a lot better. My failed cycle with a different FS was like I still wonder what went wrong my only
conculsion is she didnt care and was like oh well ill just do what i have to and nothing
more. Are you in your TWW now?
RJ85 - Thanks my injections are coming along im actually getting used to them they dont seem so bad now.Are you in your TWW now you must be close got by fingers crossed for you and sending lots of *BABY DUST*
Elm13 - Waving HI good luck with starting first round of IVF i've got this cycle and possible one more then will start IVF in the New Year. Hoping you get a BFP send lots of
* babydust * your way.
Maranoa - Waving HI wish you luck in your TTC journey when things happen for you. Close friend of mine had bad endo and had surgery well she now has a 2 year old so
don't loose hope. I believe its all about how positive you keep yourself. Sending you lots of *BABY DUST* for when your ready for your little soul to choose you.
AFM - Update from Today had my CD15 Scan today and FS said WOW after 4 days
of Purgeon apparently all I've got Follicle City with one Dominant one at 18mm on my left ovary. Guess it has come to party !!! He said to keep doing the Purgeon shots for
3 more days then we scan again on Thursday and depending what happens with others will Trigger YAHHHHHHH !!!! Little bit excited that this could happen but not going to get too excited as it could in the next 3 days be too many follies but im going with not and its going towork *POSITIVE VIBES*

Twinkley: Yay for follicle city! thats great that youve responded well to the puregon. Fingers crossed that tomorrow you'll have a couple of nice big ones ready to go lol at the sperm in your cleavage hehe the first iui when we went to drop off the "deposit" there was a lady in front of us doing the same thing and the form asks for when was the last ejaculation so she had to ring her partner to ask...so the conversations goes "Hi, umm so when did you last umm...jack off?" bahaha we were all laughing it was so funny the things that become normal when your on this journey lol.
Maranoa: Good luck with your lap. You seem to have a handle on it all which is a good thing. Stay positive and i wish you all the best for your journey xx
Heyside: I know what you mean about getting a sign that af is coming. I always get to day 21 when i get completely over emotional for the day (just want to cry ALL day!) and thats when i know im not UTD. But i have read so many posts about having the same symptoms for pre-af but then getting a bfp, so don't rule anything out yet. But if it is af coming then i hope it comes quick so you can get in and get started again (will u be doing iui next cycle?....fingers crossed u wont have to cos you'll have your bfp...)
rj85: Glad you have been keeping busy. Hope you can keep being busy til Saturday Good luck xx
Ladydee: Glad your iui went well, and glad that your dd was a good girl for you too. I have had to take my ds to a couple of scan appts and it was not fun haha. It is definitely better when your fs who you trust is the one doing the procedure her. Hope you have been feeling better (no more sickness). Good luck for the rest of the TWW
AFM: Well....just waiting.... I had O pains for a day, then a few days later started feeling crampy-ish, hard to describe, not painful but uncomfortable and only relief is to lay down. It's just constant, sometimes worse. I know its way to early to be anything pg related but im wondering can the ovaries be over stimulated even after the trigger/ovulation? I have just never had this before and thought maybe it could be from the drugs.
Am 6dpo today i think, have no faith in this cycle at all, am concentrating on my ivf appt on the 9th. Got all the paperwork yesterday so filled it out and had a look at the costs etc, i think we'll get our first cycle of ivf in Feb. Hurry up FEB! lol

Twinkley - Thanks for the support hun, have decided I have to stay strong on this next cycle and speak up if something is annoying me and upsetting me, we are paying too much for this whole thing. Good luck for tomorrows scan really hope its trigger time for you .
Mrs Hopeful - Ovulation always seem to be that way for me when using overdrel, think its because it is a forced ovulation, it usually lasts a couple of days. Silly I know but find it quite reassuring to know it has worked. You never know hun this might be your lucky cycle since your mind its really focused on it, I had actually given up hope when I was successful with dd, good luck .
AFM - I am still cramping at 12dpo and have just had the smallest amount of blood when I wiped so think I am out. I was expecting it anyway as I had had camps for long. Oh well hopefully I get full flow by tomorrow so I can face the clinic and get the next cycle started, DH is insisting on coming to my first scan for support after last month and we plan on discussing the bad communication, have decided I am going to have to stay strong this month and let them know when I am not happy with anything - we are paying too much money and this is too important!
rj85 and Ladydee how are you going in your tww, I have my fingers crossed for you girls . Good luck everyone else who is close to triggering x

Heyside: hope it's not AF.
Just got a letter from medicare saying this cycle isn't payable because "conditions not met" rang them and turns out because it was only 25 days (not their accepted 26 days) between my first IUI & my 2nd they need me to get another invoice from the clinic saying it was a short cycle before they'll pay it. Urgh how annoying.

Hi everyone sorry I haven't been on for a while so busy at work!
Heyside I hope its not af especially after everything you've had to go through this cycle. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you hun.
Twinkley- that's great news hun good size follie there! The injectables take a bit of getting used to but they do work! ! Good luck for your next scan is it tomorrow? Hope you get to trigger soon.
Mrs Hopeful- hopefully things have settled for you and your feeling more comfortable now. I don't get many symptoms but maybe it's cos you had a couple of follies?
Ladydee- How's your tww going hun? Hope you are feeling Ok and is going quickly for you.
Elm13- good luck with the you ivf cycle I'll be joining the ivf threads in jan after a prep month in december.

Hope you're travelling along ok Maranoa, wishing you the best for your upcoming op.
Hey Twinkley - congrats on your good news scan. I'm guessing you've probably triggered by now? All the best of luck this cycle!
Mrs Hopeful - well, slowly but surely we're getting there! Hope you're managing to keep busy and before you know it, we'll be ready to test! Do you usually POAS or wait until blood test?
Elm13 - hope you're travelling along ok?? All the best
Rj85 - eee, so close! Are you one of those super-hero's who waits for their blood test and doesn't POAS? I wish I was that strong! Good luck!! We need someone to start us all off with a BFP and make this thread a lucky one xx
Heyside - I hope you're still in with a chance! Are you another non-POAS-er?? I'm so sorry you've had a stressful cycle with your clinic mucking you about Last thing you need is added stress, I'm glad you have your DH's support and a plan if this cycle doesn't go well (though I still have hope that it will!!). Really hope you get your BFP this cycle xxx
Hope I haven't missed anyone?
Ive had a couple of feel-good baby events with different friends....one of my close friends just gave birth to a 10lb 5 baby today!!....luckily it was by c-section! :-0 And a couple of my hubby's friends gave birth to their baby on the bathroom floor at home before the ambo's could get there!! The dad had to break the still-intact-sac after catching the bubba and everything! My DH would've totally fainted if he had to do anything even close to that on his own lol.

Mrs Hopeful - Oh no that's not good about medicare! Did your clinic not realise before hand? One more thing to deal with, hopefully you get it sorted soon.
rj85 - Busy is a nice way to be in your tww, hope its going quickly for you. No symptoms might be a good sign hun, good luck, hopefully this is your month.
Ladydee - Have to agree we definitely need some good luck on this thread with a bfp, hope its either you or rj85 that set us off on a role . Sounds like you have had a lot to celebrate with two births to close friends, even if they were both quite traumatic in their own ways lol! Don't know what my dh would do in the same position either, suppose its a matter of just coping in the event but its not really what they prepare you for in birthing classes is it lol!!
AFM - Well af arrived with full flow this morning I am afraid but did expect it! Rang the clinic and spoke to one of the nurses (not my own) and all was good, went for my blood test, just now need to hold on tight for round three!!! It was discussed that maybe we should think about IUI at this stage, we just need to decided if its something we want to think about, feel we didn't get a good shot at it all last time even though we had 4 eggs as only bd twice and once was well after ovulation.

Oh Heyside, I'm so sorry AF arrived Im really at a loss as to how it can be that we have all of the correct elements in place and yet still end up with a bfn? It really sucks Third time has to be the charm for you xx
