I forgot to add my DS on my health insurance when he was born as I gave birth through the public system. My DS had a hearing teat last week and has been referred to a specialist (not sure when we'll get in) if he needs an operation would it be classed as pre-existing? I'm going to add him today on my health insurance. I'm really not sure about health insurance I've only ever used it for dental and glasses.

Re: Health Insurance
Dependents are covered from birth, just call them today to add his name as you will need it before the operation.
