Del, I've managed to get some good things from designer clearance sites (buyinvite, brandsexclusive, ozsale) for DD but it's sort of time consuming (and addictive!) as you end up checking every morning to see what's on sale. The quality of some of the things I've gotten has been so good, but at target prices. The downside is it usually takes about a month for the stuff to actually get sent to them and then dispatched to you. I'm also in the country so it's nice to have some clothes (for DD and I) that aren't the same as everyone else's.

Good quality clothes and where you get them?
Just checked out gap.com and found a gorgeous party dress for $28 (AUD) but shipping is $35.10 - not entirely sure it's worth it.
Also both gap and Ralph Lauren have mainly winter clothes. I have no idea what size DD will be in winter do there's no point buying anything. Will they bring out their summer stuff (for their next summer) while it's still warm enough in aus to wear?

You just missed the summer sales in July/August for Ralph and Gap! They won't have them again until after Xmas now - with Gap it's best to order a few things or go in with a few people and split the postage or wait until they have the sales ( last week they had 25% off all online stock)

It can be, if Gap does another 25% off thing, they do have free postage to your PO box so hopshopgo just ships for you which usually works out to be about 20% of the total so in theory you get the postage for free! ( if that made sense!)
I'll bump this thread when the sales are on for you!
