    That's great! Your head space can have a big impact on being able to sleep. I also think your routine and getting ready for bed helps your body and mind to unwind.

    Perhaps talk to a naturopath at one of the chemists. B Group vitamins are very good for helping both sleeplessness & nightmares (B6 usually low) and anxiety/depression. A good one like Tresos B is available for a naturopath -just let her know you are breastfeeding.

    Default My story...

    I take temazepan too and have had it prescribed on and off for 7 yrs, I haven't found it addictive and like you I reserve it for the really bad run to try and break it. What I do sometimes though is only take a half, it's enough to get me to fall asleep but not be groggy the next day and it seems to sort out the falling asleep issue for a week or so and then may have to do it again. I feel for you, sleep issues are the pits!!
