    Default Changing a 2 yr olds name

    My DD1 has a hyphenated first name and we use a shortened form of the first part of her name. I only use her full name for official documents.
    Hyphenated names are a pain and they are bogan but so is everything these days.

    Write it however you want to....except for official documents. There are lots of forms that say "preferred name" or "known as".

    Changing official documents is waaaaay too much effort
