Default Some Random Home and Cleaning Questions

If you dilute 100% lavender essential oil in a spray bottle and must it on carpets or fabric surfaces it will stop male dogs from peeing on them. Not male cats not female dogs but only male dogs. I heard Shannon Lush recommend this on the radio and tried it because I have a 15 year old senile shin tzu who has stopped caring lol, and it worked. Something about the odor causes some reaction that makes it physically uncomfortable to wee where it is. I tried it on tile too but obviously it doesn't last long there and a small piddle on tile isn't such an issue. Also bicarb and vinegar is good for cleaning it.
