I need to buy bottles, sterliser and breast pump today but I have no idea which ones are the best...with my last I went with avent..the steriliser was okay but the teats on the avent bottles used to collapse a lot...

Does anyone have any ideas? What bottles did you use with yours? And what pump is best?? Im stuck!

Tommee tippee closer to nature bottles, Avent Isis IQ breast pump and I'm pretty sure I just boiled the bottles in a pot on the stove to sterilize.

Look for a closed system pump, I think unimom and ameda are some that are very popular

I was finding the years collapsed a lot with DD4 but then realised it was because she needed to go up a teat..

If you like the avent bottles you could also use the pigeon teats with the bottle.

Are you saying that you can use pigeon teats in avent bottles instead of the avent teats? Are pigeon teats softer then avent? My bub can't take avent teats because they are to hard & she has trouble sucking.

I like pigeon teats, medela teats & bottles and unimom breastpump
In saying that, my kids, as babies have all liked different teats and bottles. From the cheap big w teats, to the Tommee tippee bottles etc, I had to buy them all and find which ones they liked. Trial and error, and very expensive exercise too. Good luck.

Yes you can use the pigeon teats in avent bottles, they fit exactly the same.. They seem softer so maybe worth a try.
