Very quiet in here today....
Hope all is going well for everyone, i have nothing exciting at all to report....just going along. I am actually trying to apply for the paid mat leave from the gov but the website is doing my head in, has anyone else completed this as yet?

It is quiet today. I have been putting off filling in the paid maternity leave forms. I figure that any form that comes from the government is bad news.
I still haven't figured out the whole FTB payments and everything either yet. Probably should cause it will have quite an impact come next year when I am not working I suppose.
Watching tummy move today when bubs is kicking, it's pretty cool. Also watched a couple of Youtube videos of babies born at 25weeks. It's crazy to think that there is something that size inside my tummy.

Hey hey hey!!! I am not liking this no mobile app thing. Lol. For some reason even though im subscribed to the thread its not in my subscribed folder and i dont receive emails about the msgs. Annoying. I actually have to manually find the thread lol. Anyway its pretty dull on my end just twiddling my thumbs and daydreaming about the baby lol. We are going to get a 26 week scan hoping we can determine the sex so 5 weeks to go to that. Started painting the nursery and everyone getting over excited and pushy lol. Family . My nephew is 6 he is so cute. Calls the baby auntys brother and wants the baby to live with him in his room. Hope everyone is as bored as i am lol.

Amino went well, didn't take long to do. The worst part is the anguish of whether you are doing the right thing. We were asked again if we wanted to proceed, being a woman and the mother and already having a maternal bond of course I didn't want to do it. Who would?
We find out the results Friday. So I'm not moving for the next few days. Im not working atm so I plenty of time to rest.
I did get to see our baby, wow it's got fat! Before the scan I was starting to think somehow the baby had disappeared somewhere as I'm not showing at all.

I don't have any other children, what I meant was I consider myself a mother already. Despite the fact you havent given birth or seen your baby every part of you wants to protect that unborn child. You don't realise how much you have bonded with your baby until someone tells you something could be wrong.
I'd love to find out the sex, my husband doesn't want to. I think mainly because his family don't want to know. I may get someone to write the sex in a card and leave it on the coffee table until it gets the better of him!

I can't imagine what you are going through KMVW but I totally understand the love you have for your unborn baby. As soon as i was diagnosed again with GD I completely changed everything! we don't eat out anymore cause I'm too scared to!
Im thinking of you for friday, I'm glad you don't have to wait too long to get results. Praying all is fine
so glad you can rest a bit.. make DH do everything for you!
I love the coffee table idea - i would cave in a second!!!!!!!!
