Zamick- It's nice to see you back, good luck with your cycle! When do you start the injections? How are you finding Dr Nic? I am thinking of switching to him if I have no luck next cycle. However I am already with Monash, so I don't know whether I should change clinics completely.
Kheeki- How are things going? Are you going to test?
JB2011- How are you feeling now you have had some time to process everything? Hawai sounds amazing!
KMVW- Not long to go now, are you coping being in hospital okay?
Sophie- How did your cycle end up? Your such a beautiful person for doing this!
Jen- How is the bed rest going, have you got a date for your scan yet?
AFM- I'm just plodding along on the BCP, I take my last pill on the 2nd March and start the stims on the 7th

Thanks Marttc xx
Jen and strawberry yes excited and pumped to be back!
I start sniffing 22nd feb, then injections around 6th march ( so strawberry we will be quite close )
Who do you see at Monash? I interviewed both him and Lynn and can say yes some things were similar but he is quite a lot more intensive and extensive in his approach. He is the only other FS besides Dr Mathias in Sydney that treats Nk cells with an intrallipid drip. He often visits USA to attend conferences, so is abreast of all new techniques and procedures. He can be quite abrupt but I don't care I just want results. I honestly feel if he can't get me pregnant no one can. The extra drugs he has me on, on top of the normal cycle cost are expensive!! An extra $5000, it will be worth it
So with all the above said, individual Monash FS definitely operate differently

Hi Ladies, thanks for the MSG Strawberry. I'm actually feeling really good about it all as is DH. We are making our way down the "getting started" list and see our FS on wed to review bloods, ultra sounds etc and will find out what's the best plan for us then I think we will start late march after Hawaii.
Have been to 2 Ivf seminars with our parents & siblings, they have been so supportive, we are very lucky to have their support! It's nice to know that they will have an understanding of what we will be going through.
Very glad to have all of u too as I'm sure ill have a million questions once we start!!

Sorry been MIA for a bit. Unfortunately AF arrived yesterday but I did expect it. I wasn't confident with the embies we had from the stim. So I will hopefully start another stim in March. Strawbs and Zakmick we might be on similar timelines which would be nice. Looks at this stage like I'm going to leave MIVF and Melbourne altogether and stim with Genea Sydney. Got my initial consult with them in a couple of weeks and will decide then.
Hope everyone else is doing great and for Jen, things are starting to go a bit smoother.

It is very quite in here, how is everyone going?
Zamick, I am under G ab, I actually quite like him but I think it may be time for a different approach. Thanks for all that info I was worried that they all practise under the same umbrella.
Jb how did your FS appointment go?
Kheeki, I am so sorry AF arrived let us know how you go with Genea, hey have such a good name!

Hi Melb Girls,
it has been quiet in here... looking forward to reading everyones updates.
Apt with FS went well, he suggested we do HA-ICSI and that he is going to be gentle with me as my AMH is very high (typical PCO) so last thing he wants to do is over stimulate me. I spoke to our IVF nurse as well and we have decided that we will start late April (first injection around Anzac day) I will be starting with the pill before injections. I am waiting a couple of months as we will be away for 3 weeks then it's easter, my friends wedding, then away for 30th so would rather wait til I am around and "back to normal" so that I am not nipping out for a BT whilst walking down the aisle!!
How are you going strawberry?

Kheeki I'm sorry the b$&ch arrived she is evil that one. So are you starting straight away again? What cd are you?
Jb: I overstim too, all my epu have been 18- 29, so this time we have dropped to 100 puregon. Fx this plan of attack works for you too, I understand the break & just wanting to enjoy things we did it last year, so we could go on our cruise.
Strawberry: where are you up to?
ATM: I started synarel last Friday but got a pretty much instant migraine, so changed to Lucrin on the Saturday, and then started on androderm patches Sunday. I stop the pill tonight (thank christ, we really haven't gotten along well) and have BT on march 5th to check levels, hoping all ok should start jabbing the multitude of drugs with EPU around the week of March 18th. This down long ref I think will test my patience!!
Have a good rest of the week girls x
