Bob Watson was mine for DD, and I'm now seeing him again for IVF for #2. I highly recommend him. He's very caring and compassionate, and always available to talk on the phone out of hours if you have questions. (Not something I would abuse, but nice to know that he cares/ will ring me if he knows I've left a message).

Bob was on holiday for my due date for DD, and he gave me the option of changing OB right at the start of the pregnancy for that reason. I elected to stay with him, and he did a great handover to Hasan Titiz before he went away.

Dr Titiz delivered DD by CS, and I had a great experience. Great recovery - almost invisible scar, no complications, etc. Then Bob even phoned from his holiday to see how it had gone!

I would see Dr Titiz again for the delivery if needed, but I preferred Bob's patient manner. Dr Titiz is a little less gentle in his patient manner, and I found that I clicked better with Bob.

2 of my friends saw Dr Chris Price there. One had a great experience, but the other found him to be quite insensitive when she suffered a miscarriage.

I have had Dr Terry Sheehan & Dr Jamie Friebe, both are really good, couldn't fault them at all. I found Dr Friebe very very easygoing, he wasn't pushy at all, and gave me lots of time to try vbac and option to think about c/section on the day i was in labour. he wasn't pushy at all. i felt very relaxed throughout the whole birth.

Default OB at North West Private Hospital Brisbane, help!!!

Thanks so much for the advice ladies. There are so many things to stress out about when moving interstate, little own when pregnant! I am hoping to be able to continue to see my OB in Sydney and then start seeing my new OB when I arrive in Brisbane, hopefully I won't have to pay two lots of management fees though. I have heard a lot of good things about NWPH too so that is great..
