beetle...so sorry to hear about your cycle...that sucks... sounds a bit like my one last time where I got 5 eggs and all were duds...saying that I have had 3 bad cycles in a row.... my body is not really likeing the protocols that my new FS does.. so frustrating when I know it can do better.... I understand about ending the journey.. I feel some relief that this will be my last cycle... no more EPUs to do...
DJ... woohoo on getting all the prep work done... love the B12 shots..
Kenta... yay for cycling... yep Ill be on the growth hormone as well... expensive stuff !!! lets hope your FS does the trick this time.

Read an interesting article in ivf breakthrough on www.news.com.au out of the Genea clinic that increases the success of transfer by 26%.
im new to this forum and have been reading every ones adventures into the ivf World. Hubby and I have our first consult with the fertility specialist in 2weeks, so we are trying to learn as much as we can and prepare ourselves with as much info as possible. Lots of questions to ask too.
my history....41.5y old, hubby the same. 2y of trying the natural way, but no success. 1TOP in the early 90's. I have had severe endometriosus since. Living in Perth. Going to see Fertility Specialists WA.
I look forward to sharing our journey and continuing to read all of yours. I've learned so much already just by reading all of your comments.
good luck everyone.

Micca - yes growth hormone expensive - I'm on it daily for 10dys and also started injections of clexane and doing gonal f twice a day so that's 4 injections a day. Clexane for first time tonight - geez it stings. I can't believe how I do it to myself now as I was the worst needle phobia when I started doing IVF over 12mths ago.
Welcome Nina. I hope your journey is successful.
Beetle I'm sorry it's the end of your journey. I think this will probably be ours as well as we are throwing everything at this one.
Fort hope your new FS is the answer.
Good luck everyone.

I am new to this forum, I am 41 & I am on the 2ww of my first IVF cycle with blood test on the 16/2.
Kenta, I am also doing clexane injections so I can sympathise lol but I like them a lot more than the side effects of the pregnyl injections.
Good luck everyone

Hi Nina and Praxie....welcome to the madhouse!!!!
I have learnt so much from being on this forum and am sure you will too. Not to mention sharing journeys and helping each other along the way.
Love to know how you are going with your cycles.
AFM..Started my course of Vit B shots. Booked in for a pap, a mammogram and all the necessary bloods. I am not dragging all of my file across from my FS as basically it was pretty routine with no investigating so no point. New start, new tests, new hope. DP is scheduled for the legendary "rub n tug" collection late this week for semen analysis! Then I will get my Hysteroscopy the following week when I am more time friendly. Just the basics but that's a start. Then, the awesome task of donor selection!! Can't wait!! Will start booking flights in a couple of weeks and we are all systems go.

Beetle - I'm so sorry to hear your news,
Micca, Kenta, DJ, Praxie, and others cycling/injecting hope to hear some good news.
Hi Sunny, Fort, Anxious and everyone else.
AFM - I've been popping away, preparing for my medicated FET. Not much to report - apart from swallowing a bunch of tablets every night, only a BT and ultrasound tomorrow morning. I do hope this one works, but if not, am considering another stim cycle in the next few months...

Hi Ladies, mind if i join in,
I posted a few times last year on the forum but havent been on in a while, having been having a little break from the madness that is IVF. Although I have still been lurking and following your journeys.
I am just about to start my final attempt to have a much wanted baby and if it is not successful then i think i need to get back to being me and having fun and living life again.
anyway today I had my pippelle biopsy and picked up my drugs for my next cycle which will be an antagonist cycle, for me it feels like he is throwing the kitchen sink at me, ( although for some of you ladies it might seem not)i am on 4 different drugs, start with elonva, then add luveris, then add orgalutran(?) and puregon. So it is a bit daunting as i have only every had gonal f in my previous cycles! I asked my FS about NK cells testing but he is not convinced but i will have a blood test tomorrow for clotting issues so I am happy he is testing me for them.
I am hoping that 2013 is going to be a lucky year, I delivered a baby at work last night so I am taking that as a good omen! Hopefully this year wont be the chinese year of the snake but the year of the baby
Anyway I will try to catch up with everyones journey look forward to getting to know you all.
Sorry for the long post!
