    How quickly did losec work for your baby?
    How good were the effects?

    We also noticed a difference within about 2-3 days when starting for the first time.

    It depends on the dose. DD was prescribed 5mg / day of losec by the GP but 2 weeks later there was still no difference so we got a referral to a paed and that appointment was 3 weeks later, so 5 weeks total with only slight improvement.

    We were prescribed 20mg / day of me Nexium by the paed and within two days the screaming stopped!!

    If its been too long and still not working, go back to the GP and get a higher dose prescribed.

    5mg as of today
    I just wanted to get a realistic expectation of results
    I'm not convinced losec will work, or shall I say I am not getting my hopes up just in case
    I'm praying to a god I don't believe in

    Have the potential causes of reflux been investigated? No meds helped DDs reflux, it didn't improve until her food intolerances were diagnosed and addressed.

    I really hope losec works for you, having a reflux baby is a tough gig.

    2-3 days and it made a massive difference. Stopped screaming all the time, and started sleeping better.
