Default where to stay in Melbourne/surrounds?

DH and I are planning to go away for a few days before bub is born, and we are thinking Melbourne area. I don't want anything too pricey (max $150) a night, and doesn't need to be CBD. There isn't anything in particular we want to do while there - just go for some nice walks, shopping, etc.

    Any suggestions???
