Do people give their cleaners a key to the house? Or leave one hidden or something?

Mine has the key and security code for our alarm. She has a seperate number from ours so our monitoring company can tell when its someone other than us entering the house.

Our cleaner is awesome. She comes for 2.5 hours every week and manages to make the whole house completely spotless. If I want something specific done, I just text her. In fact, I text her most weeks the day before to let her know what needs doing. She also puts the washing away and changes the bed sheets. Best money spent. I love having a clean house when I get home on Thursday from work. She charges $25 p/h.

Wow a cleaner for $15 an hour would be great! We used to pay $75 for 3hrs (through an agency) and that was 3 years ago so I imagine it would have gone up! I might just have to put an add on gumtree
