Has anybody expressed colostrum antenatally with success?
My baby girl has been diagnosed with cleft lip and palate and the lactation consultant advised me to start expressing colostrum so have a stockpile if my baby needs a top-up due to feeding problems.
I am 39 weeks now and have been trying to express once a day for the last couple of weeks with no success. One breast I manage to get the smallest couple of drops but not enough to suck up with a syringe.
I am feeling like a failure already
