I'm off campus through Monash Uni doing a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) I started this when in Vic as work meant that I couldn't attend classes, I've since moved to North Queensland and have continued with the studies so its pretty good. The only trouble I have is access to books for assignments so most of my references are from online journals

I study by correspondence through Charles Sturt. I'm told (by people in my workplace who all study through CSU) that they have the best correspondence/online facilities and I must say- I've never been disapointed. From online Forums to Gradebooks and transcripts. The only thing they are missing atm is an app for mobile technology which I think they are in the process of developing.

When I did my course I did it through Courses Direct.
Price was ok, they were quick to deliver the materials and text books, and their online support was great and very quick to respond.

I am going through Charles Darwin University. For my nursing course, it requires you to travel to the Northern Territory for teaching blocks, which you must pay for (flights, accommodation etc). I am happy with them. I had the opportunity to do placements in Royal Darwin Hospital and I like the focus they have on Indigenous health.
There are a lot of people who have many complaints about them, some I think come from not reading the requirements for the courses they offer and the conditions which you have to agree too. They also have difficulty finding placements for students, so this is one thing I hear a lot of complaints about.

Modern technologies allow to receive quality distance education even for rather complex occupations. I personally learned a lot of IT remotely.
