Mrsmissy, I'm so sorry for you, it's never easy! I hope you are ok and great that you can look forward to a FET next month!
Samarasmum, congratulations your 2 embies are doing great! Are you having 1 or 2 put back?
Im doing a slack catch up I'm afraid, I've only just got in from work so chilling in front of the tv feeling a bit brain dead! I pick up my drugs tomorrow to start injecting on Thursday. Can't wait just wanting to start and feeling quite confident about this cycle which I didnt think I would be after 2x BFN's
Take care everyone!

Hi all! Booked in for FET on Saturday. Only having one embie transferred this time. Was diagnosed with anti thrombin 3 deficiency and don't want the added risk of twin preg. Try to remove as many risks as possible!

Yippee caketin!!! Big congrats.
Jen, always a great start when your feeling positive, do you have to use crinone gel? Or have you got injections??
Gstef what is anti thrombin 3 def?? I haven't heard of that before!
AFM better today, I think that because my progesterone levels weren't monitored I prob wasn't on the right dose?? Next time ill ask for the injections, af has come each time on crinone...
Has anyone else had this happen?? I was told that its very unusual for af to start when using prog???

AFM still jabbing and the puku (maori name for stomach) is starting to get bigger lol - due to no cardio/gym lol and the urge to eat more!!! grr lol and of course a small bit due to my growing ovaries DH is still sick - hes off to the docs today to get antibiotics and i'm hoping the germs stay away from me!

Anti thrombin is a naturally occurring coagulant that keeps your blood at the right consistency. Because I am deficient in this I have a high risk of blood clots which can cause problems, even miscarriage during pregnancy. Better not to increase the risk by putting 2 embryos back! So I have to be on aspirin and see another specialist when I'm pregnant! Cos it's not tricky enough!!
