    I like the colour of number 1, but am not sure about the woodgrain finish.

    When I have gone into kitchens with that grain on the doors, I have felt that it can be a bit overpowering. I prefer 2.

    The wood grain/cupboards in that kitchen is a bit overdone, IMO, we won't be having that many cupboards

    I can't imagine my bench top reversed with my cupboards! I think it would be too much.

    We just think plain looks so, plain. The wood grain adds texture.
    I guess we could go for a less subtle wood grain.

    Love them both, prefer #1 but think maybe that would date a bit more than #2.

    With brown colours I think texture is important.

    The wood grain may date, but at least it isn't, well, plain old brown. Lol!

    I agree wood grain will date.
    I like them all but I couldn't go with a wood grain then in 10 years time it looks boring.
