    Default Christenings and schooling.

We are considering getting our 2 year old and 3 week old christened together in the near future. We are not really a religious family but we are considering private schools for the boys. If they are christened catholic( like their father ) can they only attend a catholic school or any anglican/ uniting school as well. Or does each school have their own rules ? Any help or stories much appreciated.

You don't need to be christened for private Christian schools ( they just take your cash!)
Catholic Schools do take a small percentage of non Catholics but your acceptance will be guaranteed if you are christened

no it's not guaranteed nessessarily. they take siblings of current students first, then children of the parish who live in the catchment then children who live outside of the catchment, then anyone else leftover.

whichever schools you are interested in, look at their websites and check under the enrolment policies.
