Yes they put me on metformin and clomid at my first FS appointment. Prior to my FS appointment I had blood tests to see if I was Insulin Resistant. I'm not IR, so my GP was reluctant to give me metformin despite it having a positive affect on women with PCOS who aren't IR, so I was really happy when my FS prescribed it.

That's so much! I'm doing a bit of shopping around for someone that will listen to my concerns. I stopped preventing in September last year and I have really been trying since April.

I have a newfound excitement for the process again. Bring on Day 3 bloods tomorrow and HyCoSy on the 2nd Sept - I have a good feeling about this
