Good morning ladies (& getlemen), sorry in advance for asking questions asked a million times before!
We're expecting our gp to give us an rs referral next week, and he's suggested that he thinks we'd most likely be candidates for ivf. So, now I'm faced with the task of working out where to go.
I have the generic question of what experiences have people had at the 4 clinics, and would you recommend them?
My other question is about flinders pricing. The other 3 specify what is included in their price (e.g. $2.5k covers the meds for ovulation, the hospital bed etc etc) but flinders don't. Given that their advertised price is so much lower, I'm thinking a lot of these additional costs haven't been included. Can anyone tell me what is/isn't included, or what the final out of pocket is with Flinders?
Also, can anyone explain why it's more expensive in Adelaide than the other states (mainly thinking of City Fertility Specialists here)?
Thank you for your help

My husband and I have our appointment this Friday with Repromed to sign consents and for me to pick up our drugs to start our first IVF cycle in early October! So very exciting but nervous at the same time.
To be honest, we never researched the other options in Adelaide. We were faced with the challenge of my husband being diagnosed with testicular cancer (pretty much just after returning from our honeymoon in April) and when the Urologist said we should freeze sperm straight away before the cancer was removed and his wife worked at Repromed, we didn't question him.
Luckily we have had the best experience there to date. Been to a few appointments already for testing of me, and the Dr we have been given really takes the time to explain everything. It's these forums with all the acronyms that is confusing me!
Happy to discuss costs etc with you and share the journey.

Thanks for the response
We ended up getting the referral to Flinders. They recently updated their price page to be more transparent. Turns out they bulk bill most of the tests (they also have reduces price/bulk billing where cancer is the case for seeking treatment). We have our first appointment on the 27th.
