    Default smashed screen on iPhone

My screen just got smashed on my iphone I have no idea what to do now.

It's under warranty but I don't have the $250 excess.
Do I go to my provider, apple or a mobile repair shop?

Anyone know how much it cost for a new screen

    I'd personally go to apple.
I don't know how much it costs.

Apple charged me $130 for a screen replacement, lots of people use those dodgy shops but they void your warranty so I don't use them.

I thought it was $199 at apple.

If you don't mind voiding your warranty it's a lot cheaper at a repair shop - around $50 at most places I think

Chances are that they will give you a restored phone instead of fixing your screen. So back everything up.

A lot of people are actually buying the kits and changing them themselves now, apparently it's not hard to do.

I watched a YouTube video on how to do it. I wouldn't do it myself and I'm pretty good with that sort of technical building stuff.
